There will be a short test at the beginning of the *-labs. The questions in the tests will refer to the preceeding lectures.

Requirements to obtain the credit ("zápočet")

Delivering all finished assignments.
Attending of the tests at the beginning of *-labs. The points from all tests but the worst one will count, so one bad result will not influence your mark. Omitting the worst test applies only if you attended all of the tests!

Assignments delivery and their evaluation

At each week labs a new assignment for the forthcoming week will be released.
A student is assumed to work on the assignment during the week.
The assignment solution code must not be Plagiarism. Plagiarism will result in not obtaining the credit.
During the labs
- Students are defending their solution of the assignment. Successful defense of the student's implementation is a necessary condition for gaining the points for the assignment. When the student is unable to explain the solution or answer all related questions, they loose one point and can try to submit the solution again later on.
- Students work on the assignment (the current one or the one for the forthcoming week) with support of the teaching assistents.
Maximum number of points for each assignment is 3. One point is reduced from this number with each unsuccessful submittion.
At least one submission attempt has to be made at the labs for which the assigment is given.
Some assignments contain a bonus task. Solving this task can bring up to 2 extra points (1 point for solving it, 1 point for an extraordinary solution or some interesting extension of the task).

Compensations

In the last resort cases (well justified) you will be allowed to compensate for one absence at a test.
The conditions of the compensation will be dealt individually; nevertheless the compensation will in general require more effort than absolving the test.

Labs evaluation

The gained points from the labs (sum of assignment, test and bonus points) will contribute to the final classification by 50%.
